If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Mountains. Time and a Half Campground is a magnificent local campground, and Anthony Lakes is a very popular ski area in close proximity. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Erickson Lake reach the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with       winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Erickson Lake. Man, is there a load of entertaining stuff to do next to Erickson Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Grande Ronde River offers some great whitewater, and hiking along the Hoodoo Trail is good fun. Dry warm beds await you at La Grande Travelodge, and do take a hike on the Marion Jordan Trail. This lake is so wonderful. North Fork Anthony Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and Erickson                  Lake is not the only place nearby, Rainbow Reservoirs is a nearby lake. Erickson Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Mountains. Erickson Lake is pretty arid commonly; most of the snow falls through January, and the driest month is July. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining things to do in the Blue Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Lagrande Super 8 Motel is a brilliant choice, and a pleasant tour to Limber Jim Meadow is a good way to spend an afternoon. You could also check out La Grande Reservoir since you're here at Erickson Lake; it's close by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Park Saddle Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
