Eowyn Reservoir is not the only place close by, Old Lakebed Waterhole is a close by lake; the sight of striking Coffee Butte is magnificent. Coffee Lake is a delightful spot any time of year, and a lake close by is Ryegrass Reservoir. Around Eowyn Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and September is when it's the driest. Camping is available at Little Summit Campground.

Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Eowyn Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A good site to camp here at Eowyn Reservoir is Buck Spring Campground; do pay a visit to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument while you're here at Eowyn Reservoir. | |
