Enid Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a perfect time. A great close by hotel is Falcon's Crest Inn On Mt. Hood, and you can hit the slopes at Timberline Lodge nearby. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. Twin Bridges Campground is a brilliant campground here, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Hood River here. This lake is

| | so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Tom Dick Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Barlow Campground is a magnificent place to camp. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Yocum Falls, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Sandy River. Enid Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. Crest Inn on Mt. Hood is a great choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Enid Lake; Hidden Lake Trail is a tremendous local trail. Man, is there loads of amusing things to do in the vicinity of Enid Lake. Near Enid Lake
you come across Little Zigzag Canyon which is a great spot to stop at; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Mt. Hood Ski Bowl. Enid Lake is a wet place that gets much precipitation; the wettest month of the year
is typically December, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Enid Lake, you could also explore nearby Collins Lake; why
not take a refreshing hike along the Mirror Lake Trail. During the warmest time of the year at Enid Lake highs are usually in the 70's; the night is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the
40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Enid Lake fall into the 30's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Zigzag River, and from Enid Lake you acquire a great sight of Multorpor Mountain.
