Emil Creek Reservoir is right by the Lamberson Butte Spur Trail, and delightful skiing awaits you at Cooper Spur. Emil Creek Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. So much fun stuff to do here at Emil Creek Reservoir, too great to be true. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Searra Casa Reservoir in close proximity to Emil Creek Reservoir, and close by you hit upon Hutson Gulch                  which is a great place to check out. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Clinger Campground is a fine local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Hood River Inn is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Dufur Valley Farms if you're here at Emil Creek Reservoir, and Mt. Hood Meadows has good slopes and a friendly staff. Alder Creek is near Emil Creek Reservoir and is always a delight to go to, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hood River - West Fork. Emil Creek Reservoir is a pretty wet place commonly with much rain; most of the rain falls throughout December; July on the other hand is the driest. It's always good to pop by Parkdale Cold Spring, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Hood River is a great location to spend a night or two.
