If you would like a little side journey, try Dead Mule Canyon, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Beaverdam Reservoir. So many cool things to do in the Blue Mountains,       not sufficient time. Visit Beaverdam Creek if you're here at Emigrant Reservoir, and camping is available at The Timbers Inn and RV Park. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Blue Mountains. Lakes are great; Dead Mule Reservoir is a lake that's close to Emigrant Reservoir. At Emigrant Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; during November this area sees the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Dead Mule Spring is always fun                  to check out, and the Beaverdam Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime highs at Emigrant Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Emigrant Reservoir temperatures descend to the 10's. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Mountains.
