    Emerald Lake is a lake worth visiting. Emerald Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Mollala River - North Fork; hiking along the Baty Silver King Trail is great fun. This place, Emerald Lake, it truly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pine Crest Trail, and do take a hike on the High Camp Trail.
There's no way anybody can get bored
 
   here in the Central Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Emerald Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Fox RV Park is a tremendous place for that, and Cougar Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mollala River - South Fork; dry warm beds await you at Red Fox Motel.

               Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Emerald Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. Emerald Lake typically gets a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during December; the driest month is July. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. Emerald Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Northwest Land Management is a pleasant local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Oak Park Motel & Trailer Park is a nice choice.
