     Emerald Lake is a nice lake to visit. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mollala River - North Fork, and why not check out close by Cougar Creek if you're here at Emerald Lake. Take a hike on the Baty Silver King Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Emerald Lake has to offer, you can camp at Silver Fox RV Park. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. The Pine Crest Trail  
   offers hiking at its best; get covered with water paddling on Mollala River - South Fork.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in close proximity to Emerald Lake. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Gresham is a brilliant site to spend a night or two; Best Western Sandy Inn is a brilliant site to get some rest. High temperatures at Emerald Lake through the warm months are in the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Throughout
 
               the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Emerald Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Cascade Sports Camp, and why not take a refreshing hike along the High Camp Trail.
This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. Emerald Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Central Cascade Range is peerless!.
