It is very dried out here at Elms Reservoir typically; December is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. Don't leave Elms Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Rock Creek Lake Trail, and camping is available at Unity Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are glorious places to look at along the Twin Lakes Trail, and a tremendous place to camp here at Elms       Reservoir is Unity Motel and Trailer Park. If you need a site to stay Scoop N Steamer Station & Log is a great choice; an interesting thing to stop at close to Elms Reservoir is Elms Dam. At Elms Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Elms Reservoir fall into the 10's. If you fancy the                  outdoors, you'll like Elms Reservoir. Depot Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest.
