If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Elmers Reservoir 2. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lodgepole Trail; you'll in all probability meet some people from La Grande here. At Elmers Reservoir 2 through the summer months highs are in the 80's; the overnight is fairly cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with

| | temperatures at Elmers Reservoir 2 dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Good hiking is available along the Rock Spring Trail, and there's whitewater on Grande Ronde River for all you adrenaline junkies.

RV Resort. Lakes are tremendous; Elmers Reservoir 1 is a lake that's in the vicinity of Elmers Reservoir 2. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Elmers Reservoir 2; Huckleberry Trail is a perfect local trail, and Best Western Rama
Inn & Suites is a good place to get some rest.
Around Elmers Reservoir 2 you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is when it's the driest. Hit the slopes at Anthony Lakes
in the neighborhood. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Wallowa Mountains, too good to be true. At Elmer Dam Number Three close to Elmers Reservoir 2 there are some interesting things to see; whitewater paddling is not for
everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Grande Ronde River.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Eagles Hot Lake RV Park is always a great experience; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Spout Springs. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wallowa Mountains.
