If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Elmers Reservoir 2. All through the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Elmers Reservoir 2. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Elmers Reservoir 2. You can take a little spree to Elmer Dam Number Three while you're here at Elmers Reservoir 2, and Grande Ronde River

overnight stay Hot Lake RV Resort is a great place to camp, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grande Ronde River.
And if that's not enough there's a load more entertaining things
to do in the Wallowa Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Elmers Reservoir 2; Rock Spring Trail is a wonderful local trail, and La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort is a great campground here. Just can't get enough of the Wallowa
Mountains. The Huckleberry Trail offers hiking at its best; let's not forget Murphy Creek which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. Elmers Reservoir 2 is commonly a pretty waterless site; January is the wettest
month with most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Lagrande Super 8 Motel, and Anthony Lakes is a glorious local ski area. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
