Go to Elkhorn Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Central Cascade Range is unbeatable! Elkhorn Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Detroit Lake State Park is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Elkhorn Lake without first going for a hike along the Nohorn Trail, and if you need a location to stay Oak Park Motel & Trailer Park is a nice choice. Elkhorn Lake is located

Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Elkhorn Mountain can be distinguished from Elkhorn Lake, and if you came to camp B and B Rentals is a great place to do that. Going for a hike on the Rocky Top Trail is always a tremendous adventure; Elkhorn Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. Elkhorn Lake really is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. The high level of rain makes Elkhorn Lake a rather wet location; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest
month of the year is July. Through the summertime, highs regularly are in the 70's at Elkhorn Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's, and nighttime lows
at Elkhorn Lake through the wintertime typically plunge into the 30's. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Santiam River - North, and it's a great idea to pop by Big Twelve Creek.
