Do stop by Elk Lake while you're in this part of Oregon. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. High temperatures at Elk Lake through the warm months are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Elk Lake dip into the 30's. So much entertaining stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just phenomenal.

| | A brilliant nearby hotel is Detroit Motel, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Beachie Trail.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things near Elk Lake. Near Elk Lake you locate glorious places like Beachie Saddle, and going for a hike along the Mother Lode Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. B and B
Rentals is a perfect campground here, and there are other sites here than Elk Lake, for example Dunlap Lake. Hiking along the Twin Lakes Trail is nice fun; here at Elk Lake you can see Battle Ax. This lake is so wonderful. All Season's
Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest, and needless to say Dunlap Creek is a scenic stream that is worth taking a look at.
Elk Lake is a rather wet place mostly with a lot of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
