Go to Elk Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Skiing at Hoodoo is one of those things you just must do. Some close by water includes Quinn Creek, and a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Squaw Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. | | in the 30's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Elk Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Hosmer Lake near Elk Lake, it's a pretty lake, and Red Crater is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. There's good hiking along the Six Lakes Trail; you can run the rapids of Deschutes River. the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. That right there is heaps of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. The Mirror Lake Trail offers hiking
at its best. There's so much to do here at Elk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Campground is a delightful location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Elk Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Elk Lake, and Elk
Lake Springs is always fun to check out. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Elk Lake. Very delightful scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Mt. Bachelor, and since
you're here, you could also explore delightful Camelot Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Elk Lake; Sunset Lake Trail is a tremendous local trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Elk Lake has to offer, you can camp at East Lake Resort and RV Parks.
