If you are in Lane county it's always a good idea to stop by Elf Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Elf Lake is right by the Deer Butte Trail, and Horse Creek is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. Camping at East Lake Resort and RV Parks is always a great experience, and what would winter be without some skiing at Mt. Bachelor. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.

| | levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marion Creek, and Lodge at Suttle Lake is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. and the slopes of Hoodoo are so inviting nobody can resist.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Elf Lake; Benson Trail is a nice local trail, and camping is available at Tombstone Prairie Campground. All the outdoors amusing
things in close proximity to Elf Lake will keep you coming back many times. The Hand Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and a great panorama of gorgeous Scott Mountain is available.
For the duration of the warm days of summer
here at Elf Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 30's; night lows at Elf Lake through the winter regularly plunge
into the 20's. This spot, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Nearby lakes? Sure, Benson Lake is near Elf Lake; a journey to Elf Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Alder Springs.
