Elephant Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Central Cascade Range. A nice location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Elephant Lake is Brice Creek, and a short spree to Smith Falls is always worthwhile. You can run the rapids of Champion Creek in the neighborhood of Elephant Lake, and getting to Cat Creek from Elephant Lake is uncomplicated.

| | Elephant Lake is not the only location close by, Crystal Lake is a close by lake, and after a long day outdoors Cascade Motel & Storage is a good place to spend a night or two. At Elephant Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. at Elephant Lake you could always discover Bohemia Saddle, and you can go for a hike on the Mayflower Trail. Elephant Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. A brilliant nearby hotel is Best Western Oakridge
Inn, and you can stay the night at Slim Chance Campground. That right there is a load of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Crystal Basin is a pretty site any time of year. There's so much
to do here at Elephant Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Errin Campground is a glorious place for that. All the water falling down from the sky makes Elephant Lake a wet spot; November is the wettest month with most
rain while July is ordinarily the driest month. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Elephant Lake is unbeatable!. This lake is so wonderful. You get a splendid vista of Bohemia Mountain from Elephant Lake, and going for a hike on the Steamboat Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
