If you are in Douglas county it's always a good idea to stop by Elbow Lake. Yeah, come here to Elbow Lake for a delightful time. Elbow Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground; why not take a little trip to Elbow Lake Creek while you're here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. Do schedule some time to stop at Bass Arms close to Elbow Lake if you have a chance, and Crown Zellerback Campground is a fine campground nearby. Summertime highs

| | at Elbow Lake usually tend to be in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Elbow Lake.
Elbow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Threemile Lake Trail, and a delightful spot for whitewater paddling is Millicoma River - West Fork. Elbow Lake mostly gets a lot of rainfall; December is the month | |

This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back many times. There are other places here than Elbow Lake,
for example Tahkenitch Lake, and if you're a golfer then a delightful close by course is Forest Hills Country Club. Dry warm beds await you at Economy Inn Reedsport, and not far from Elbow Lake you get some delightful water scenery
at Tahkenitch Lake Dam.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Best Western Salbasgeon Inn Of Reedsport is a great choice. Lakes? Sure, Butterfly Lake is nearby.

 | Carter Lake is a really great place for friendly family fun. The lake is great for canoeing and fishing, warm enough to swim and frolick. The camp sites are varied with some along the lake and others along the dune. Speaking of the dune, the walk up and over the dune to the beach is great. Little North Woahink Lake
| I was born here and in my 50 years, this is the very first time I've heard of Little North Woahink lake. At first I thought perhaps the author was talking about Little Woahink which is a tiny dammed private lake/reservoir off a northern arm of Woahink off Canary RD or maybe this was a tiny lake in the vacinity I'd never heard of, so I hunted around a little bit. Nope. There is no North Little Woahink. The author was simply referring to Woahink, which btw, is a nice destination for summer water skiing or picnicing, especially because of it's very close approximity to Honeyman State Park and it's campground. Honeyman has very comfortable ammenities. Check out the yerts!... |
