This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. High temperatures at Ehlig Reservoir during the summertime months are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Ehlig Reservoir tend to be in the 30's. Ehlig Reservoir gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; December is the wettest month       with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Not far from Ehlig Reservoir, you'll discover Kennison Reservoir which is a beautiful lake; a magnificent location to camp here at Ehlig Reservoir is Sunny Valley Koa Kampground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Grants Pass Travelodge, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Red Mountain Golf Course. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Coast Ranges                  rocks! Brimston Gulch is a great location to spend some time at, and Dog Creek is near Ehlig Reservoir and is always a joy to stop by. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There are other spots here than Ehlig Reservoir, for example Wolf Creek Pools, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Grayback Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Coffee Pot Trail is a nice hiking trail close to Ehlig Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Grants Pass is a good choice. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Coast Ranges. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Grave Creek; camping at Grants Pass/Sunny Valley KOA is always a wonderful experience. Ehlig Reservoir is not far at all from Grants Pass; going for a hike on the South Fork Trail is always a nice adventure.
