Take a little trip to Dog Creek if you're here at Ehlig Reservoir, and if you're here and you like golf, you can go to Red Mountain Golf Course. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Grants Pass is a glorious choice, and Brimston Gulch is a glorious site to check out. Through the summer months at Ehlig Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during       the wintertime are in the 40's; overnight lows at Ehlig Reservoir through the winter regularly sink into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Umpqua River - South offers some good whitewater, and you can stay the night at Sunny Valley Koa Kampground. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Coast Ranges. After a long day outdoors Grants Pass Travelodge is a brilliant site to spend a night or two; why not take                  a refreshing hike along the Grayback Trail. Ehlig Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. While you're here at Ehlig Reservoir, you could also go to picturesque Kennison Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ehlig Reservoir; Coffee Pot Trail is a nice local trail, and you're sure to come across some friendly people from Grants Pass here. Ehlig Reservoir is right by the South Fork Trail, and Grants Pass/Sunny Valley KOA is a delightful campground nearby. From a precipitation point of view Ehlig Reservoir is a quite typical location; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July.
