Shelter Cove Resort is a good campground nearby; why not take a refreshing hike along the Winchester Trail. Eddeeleo Lakes gets a great deal of water; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is July. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Eddeeleo Lakes reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Through the       winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Eddeeleo Lakes plunge into the 20's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Salmon Creek Trail, and a good close by hotel is Best Western Oakridge Inn. Everybody                  nearby loves skiing at Willamette Pass, and Twin Springs Campground is a glorious local campground. Eddeeleo Lakes beyond doubt is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Hiking along the Crain Prairie Trail is magnificent fun, and Lower Eddeeleo Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. And if that's not enough there's a lot more entertaining things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit McKenzie River - South Fork, and on a lovely day you get a splendid panorama of Waldo Mountain from Eddeeleo Lakes.
