It's always fun to stop by Echo Lake. Just can't get enough of Echo Lake. On a good day at Echo Lake you can take a hike along the West Eagle Trail. For the duration of the months of summer at Echo Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Echo Lake. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more enjoyable

| | stuff to do here in the Wallowa Mountains. You could also stop by Olive Lake since you're here at Echo Lake; it's nearby; Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a wonderful site to get some rest.

at Echo Lake Dam if you're here.
Echo Lake is located in the Wallowa Mountains. At Echo Lake you don’t see much rain; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
