The summit of Rigdon Butte can be observed from Eastern Brook Lake, and if you need a location to stay Sleepy Hollow Motel is a good choice. You're possibly addicted to lakes, Brittany Lake is one of those close by, and there's whitewater on Horse Creek for all you adrenaline people. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range rules! Shelter Cove Resort       is a great campground here, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend McKenzie River - South Fork. Eastern Brook Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Going for a hike on the Salmon Creek Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing awaits you at Willamette                  Pass; on a good day you can take a hike along the Winchester Trail. Throughout the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Eastern Brook Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Eastern Brook Lake. Eastern Brook Lake ordinarily gets a lot of rain; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Eastern Brook Lake has it all.
