The view of Rigdon Butte from Eastern Brook Lake is lovely, and get yourself into a kayak and hit McKenzie River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the summer highs here at Eastern Brook Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Through the winter this place gets       highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Eastern Brook Lake descend into the 20's. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Crain Prairie Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Willamette Pass is relatively near. Eastern Brook Lake is right by the Salmon Creek Trail; since you                  might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Emma Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Twin Springs Campground is a fine site to do that; not far from Eastern Brook Lake you'll discover Edna Lake which is a beautiful lake. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is plentiful here in the Central Cascade Range. Camping at Shelter Cove Resort is always a brilliant experience, and the skiing at Mt. Bachelor is delightful. Having a fine time at Eastern Brook Lake is easy.
