It's always fun to stop by East Lakes Reservoir. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at East Fork Falls, and Scenic Meadows RV Park is a great campground here. East Lakes Reservoir is a location that is rather arid typically; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow; the driest month is July. So many amusing things to do in the Wallowa Mountains, not enough time. The Main Creek Trail is a perfect hiking trail in the vicinity of

| | East Lakes Reservoir, and you can stay the night at Wallowa Lake State Park.
Through the summer months at East Lakes Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's while East Lakes Reservoir nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; East Lakes Reservoir has it all. | |

Looking for some flowing water? Try Blue Creek; East Lakes Dam is a striking site. This lake is so wonderful. Norway Basin is a magnificent location to check out, and Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a good spot to get some rest.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Wallowa Mountains. If the weather is magnificent here at East Lakes Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Martin Bridge Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Wallowa Mountains.
While you're here at East Lakes Reservoir you can take a hike along the Kettle Creek Trail; after a long day outdoors Baker City Super 8 Motel is a pleasant place to spend a night or two.
