From East Hanks Lake you acquire a magnificent vista of Pillar Peak, and a striking lake like Harlequin Lake is a splendid spot to have a look at. Stay the night at East Lake Resort and RV Parks; lakes are such calm places, why not check out Middle Hanks Lake. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Willamette Pass, and there's delightful       hiking along the Snowshoe Lake Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Newberry Station. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave East Hanks Lake without first going for a hike along the Winopee Lake Trail, and Mt. Bachelor has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. A good deal of precipitation falls at East Hanks Lake; December is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand                  is the driest. Summertime highs at East Hanks Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at East Hanks Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's.
