This is a wonderful neighborhood for people who like lakes. Eagle Reservoir is a lake around here. There's so much to do here at Dutch Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Fish House Inn is a glorious place for that. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dutch Reservoir. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter       at Dutch Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's. Dutch Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Blue Mountains. Near Dutch Reservoir you come across the Coffeepot Trail which is a great hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Dutch Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Pine Tree Campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near Dutch Reservoir has to offer. Going for a hike on the South Prong                  Trail is always a splendid adventure. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Mountains. If time allows, John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth going to, and Bear Butte is painless to spot from Dutch Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking trail near Dutch Reservoir called the Black Canyon Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Blue Jay Reservoir.
