Through the long summer days at Dunlop Reservoir highs are commonly in the 80's. Summer overnight       lows sink down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Dunlop Reservoir temperatures descend to the 30's. And that's not all you can do here at Dunlop Reservoir. Oregon Caves National Monument is one of the destinations near Dunlop Reservoir that are great to go to, and a splendid close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Grants Pass, Or. Camping is available at Dixon Greenvalley Campers; hiking along                  the Grayback Clapboard Trail is brilliant fun. Dunlop Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. So much amusing stuff to do in the Siskiyou Mountains, not sufficient time.
