Why not stop by Dunlap Lake if you're passing through these parts. All through the warm days of summer here at Dunlap Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Dunlap Lake descend into the 30's. Just can't get enough of Dunlap Lake. | | Santiam River - North for all you adrenaline people. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Breitenbush River; why not take a look at a swamp like Alder Swamp while you're here at Dunlap Lake.

local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. There are splendid locations to discover along the Mother Lode Trail, and camping
at Detroit Lake State Park is always a perfect experience.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. You get a splendid sight of Deadhorse Mountain from Dunlap Lake. Lakes are perfect; Elk Lake is
a lake that's near Dunlap Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Dunlap Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July.
This lake is so wonderful.
