Dunlap Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Hoodoo has great slopes and a friendly staff. Dunlap Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, B and B Rentals is a delightful local campground, and why not check out a swamp like Alder Swamp since you're here at Dunlap Lake. Dunlap Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Dunlap Lake a wet place; December is when

| | you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Dunlap Lake is right by the Elk Lake Trail; here at Dunlap Lake you can make out Deadhorse Mountain. Paddling on Breitenbush River is so much fun, and needless to say Dunlap Creek flows through this vicinity.

lake like West Lake near Dunlap Lake is a splendid place to stop by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Twin Lakes Trail. The warmest time of the year at Dunlap Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through
summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Dunlap Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing
to do around Dunlap Lake; Mother Lode Trail is a good local trail, and camping at Detroit Lake State Park is always a brilliant experience.
