This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Dugout Lake is wonderful fun, Suttle Lake Resort and Marina is a wonderful local campground, and you can hit the slopes at Hoodoo around here. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Marion Creek; the Little Belknap Trail offers hiking at its best. The high level of rainfall makes Dugout Lake a quite wet site;       most of the rain falls through December, and July on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Dugout Lake all through the warm months are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Dugout Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. So many enjoyable things to do here at Dugout Lake, too wonderful to be true. Whitewater paddling is                  not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Squaw Creek; there's great hiking along the Cache Lake Trail. Man, is there heaps of cool things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Dugout Lake is a fine location to camp, Blue Lake Resort is a fine location, and Mt. Bachelor is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. From Dugout Lake you acquire a perfect sight of Bluegrass Butte, and if you need a location to stay Lodge at Suttle Lake is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. You absolutely should love the Central Cascade Range.
