The yearly rain here at Dufur Orchards Reservoir is about average; December is the month that gets the most snow; the driest month is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Having a splendid time in the Central Cascade Range is trouble-free.                  If you came to camp Dufur RV Park is a pleasant location to do that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Ball Point Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lauronzon Canyon is a splendid place to pop by close by; the Pen Way Trail offers hiking at its best. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There's some flowing water close by, Wolf Run is a stream you can have a look at while here, and Dufur Orchards Reservoir is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Dallesport Mobile Home Park is a magnificent local campground. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. A glorious spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Dufur Orchards Reservoir is Klickitat River, and dry warm beds await you at The Dalles Super 8 Motel.
