If you are in Linn county it's always a good idea to stop by Duffy Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Detroit Motel. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Do have a look at Alforja Lake close to Duffy Lake, it's a striking lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Duffy Lake has to offer, you can camp at Suttle Lake Resort and Marina. This lake is so wonderful. Have a glorious

| | hiking adventure along the Duffy Lake Trail, and the panorama of delightful Duffy Butte is delightful.
Duffy Lake is a pretty wet place commonly with a lot of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Take a hike on the Lava Trail, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Marion Creek. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Duffy Lake has it all. skiing at nearby Hoodoo; you can stay the night at Tombstone Prairie Campground.
This place, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Hiking along the Maxwell Trail is pleasant fun; everybody loves Duffy
Prairie. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Duffy Lake while night lows are frequently in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Duffy Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's.
Duffy Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range.
Paddling on Santiam River - North is so much fun; after a long day outdoors Lodge at Suttle Lake is a glorious place to spend a night or two.
