Go for a hike on the Bottle Prairie Trail, and a trip to Koberg Beach is always a fine idea. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too wonderful to be true. Some nearby water includes Kershaw Creek, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Mt. Hood Meadows. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Hood River Inn, and if you       come at the right time of year, Hood River offers some wonderful whitewater. All year is a magnificent time in the Central Cascade Range if you go for the outdoors. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Cooper Spur, and a delightful place to camp here at Duckwall Reservoir is Sunset RV Park. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Near Duckwall Reservoir you hit upon a golf course called Hood River Golf Course, and Koberg Slough                  is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. Going for a hike on the Dog River Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and do stop by Aubert Reservoir, it's a charming lake. Throughout the warm days of summer at Duckwall Reservoir highs are usually in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Duckwall Reservoir are in the 30's. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Hood River - East Fork; you're sure to stumble upon some great people from Hood River here. A large amount of precipitation falls at Duckwall Reservoir; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July.
