Go to Duckwall Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. That right there is loads of fun things already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. There's some interesting stuff to catch a sight of at Powerdale Dam in the neighborhood of Duckwall Reservoir, and there's glorious hiking along the Zigzag Trail. | | get into the 70's; the overnight is a tad colder of course, usually in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Duckwall Reservoir. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Central Cascade Range. A day at Koberg Beach next to Duckwall Reservoir is time well spent, and a round of golf at nearby Hood River Golf Course is a tremendous way to kill some time. The | |

Bottle Prairie Trail offers hiking at its best; Duckwall Reservoir is not far at all from Hood River. Whitewater paddling is good on Hood River, and a gorgeous lake like Koberg Slough is a brilliant place to check out. You'll
beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Central Cascade Range. Get wet paddling on Hood River - East Fork, and Duckwall Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Sunset RV Park
is a good local campground. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do near Duckwall Reservoir. Very charming scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Mt. Hood Meadows; why not take a little journey to Kershaw Creek
if you're here. The high level of rainfall makes Duckwall Reservoir a reasonably wet spot; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals
herself at Bear Wallow Springs; a magnificent location to camp here at Duckwall Reservoir is Bridge RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not go to Aubert Reservoir near Duckwall Reservoir, and
Davidson Hill is delightful and can be spotted from here. This lake is so wonderful. Willow Flat is right here at Duckwall Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Good hiking is available along the Dog River
Trail, and a great nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Hood River. What would winter be without some skiing at Cooper Spur; after a long day outdoors Best Western Hood River Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two.
