    If you are in Crook county it's always a good idea to stop by Duck Puddle Reservoir. The Coffeepot Trail is a pleasant hiking trail near Duck Puddle Reservoir; if time allows, John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth going to. Duck Puddle Reservoir is near Monroe Draw which is absolutely worth a visit, and getting to Bear Creek from Duck Puddle Reservoir is uncomplicated. Summer at Duck Puddle Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the  
   80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Duck Puddle Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 10's.
Not much rain falls here at Duck Puddle Reservoir; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most, and September is the month with the least moisture. You just can't imagine the amount of

This place, Duck Puddle Reservoir, it truly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. While you're here at Duck Puddle Reservoir you can take a hike along the South Prong Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is fine here at Duck Puddle Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Black Canyon Trail; camping is available at Fish House Inn.
