And that's not all there is to do here in the Blue Mountains. There are pleasant spots to discover along the Coffeepot Trail, and if you came to camp Pine Tree Campground is a pleasant place to do that. There is a perfect hiking trail close to Dual Reservoir called the South Prong Trail; Big Mowich Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Summertime brings highs       in the 80's to Dual Reservoir. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Dual Reservoir descend into the 10's. Dual Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Blue Mountains. A short spree to Blue Spring is always worthwhile, and don't miss out on a visit to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument since you're here. At Dual Reservoir you don’t                  see much precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout November, and the driest month of the year is September. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. This lake is so wonderful.
