This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are wonderful; Horn Pond is a lake that's near Dry Prairie Number One Pond; at Dry Prairie Number One Pond you can see Coyote Butte. Lava Beds National Monument is a very splendid site to explore near Dry Prairie Number One Pond. Bird watching at it's best. Yellow wing and red wing black birds nest in the tule reeds of this little lake into the middle of August. Ducks nest on the banks in Spring. It is still half full, 40 acres in late summer. In early Spring you will find the lake full at 80 acres if normal rain has fallen during the winter. Great for canoe. Private Lake.
