Dry Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Dry Lake gets very little rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for a glorious spree? John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is rather close to Dry Lake, and camping at Lonesome Spring Campground is always a nice experience. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful.

| | things to do in the Blue Mountains. Fort Creek Dam is delightful and it's close to Dry Lake, and Dry Lake is right by the Lone Pine Trail. At Dry Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Dry Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Hiking along the Coffeepot Trail is wonderful fun, and why not a little side journey to Fort Creek.

many entertaining things to do here in the Blue Mountains, too wonderful to be true. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Dry Lake has it all. A brilliant location right next door to Dry Lake is Pine Hollow; as expected,
this is a wonderful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Fort Creek Reservoir is a lake close at hand. Dry Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Little Summit Campground is a splendid local campground, and the Owl Creek Trail offers hiking at its best.
