This lake is so wonderful. Very beautiful scenery and good skiing is what you get at Hoodoo, and Crescent Mountain can be seen from Dry Lake. Dry Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Suttle Lake, and there are other places here than

Hiking is a popular thing to do around Dry Lake; Pyramid Trail is a glorious local trail, and not far from Dry Lake you'll come across Crescent Lake which is a wonderful lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Crescent Mountain Trail; Dry Lake is right by the Browder Ridge Trail.

Any time is a great time at Dry Lake if you fancy the outdoors. A great site to camp here at Dry Lake is Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Santiam
River - Middle. This lake is so wonderful. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Dry Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Dry Lake are in
the 30's.
Dry Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Tombstone Prairie Campground is a pleasant local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Santiam River - North offers some great whitewater.
