Dry Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Dry Lake is so good! Lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at Cougar Lake right next door to Dry Lake, and a good close by hotel is Detroit Motel. Dry Lake regularly gets a good deal of precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. All through the summer months highs here at Dry Lake reach the 70's. Throughout the

| | moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Dry Lake are in the 30's.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. So much cool stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just striking. Going for a hike along the Crescent Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; you can stay the night at Tombstone Prairie Campground. This | |

lake is so wonderful. The summit of Crescent Mountain can be seen from Dry Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Browder Ridge Trail.
Santiam River - North is a tremendous whitewater spot close to Dry Lake.
You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dry Lake has to offer, you can camp at Detroit Lake State Park. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range. In the event that
you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Santiam River - Middle; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Pyramid Trail.
Gotta ski! Hoodoo is a fine place to do that; Sleepy Hollow Motel is a pleasant place to get some rest.
