Around Dry Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through December this area sees the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. Gooch Meadow is right here at Dry Lake, and the Boulder Spring Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. That right there is lots of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. If you came for an overnight stay Willow Valley       Campground is a great site to camp, and a short visit to Driscoll Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Near Dry Lake you find the Whisky Spring Trail which is a nice hiking trail; don't leave Dry Lake without first checking out Gerber Rim. Dry Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. At Dry Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets                  highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Dry Lake temperatures descend to the 10's.
