Go for a hike on the Reservation Trail, and Juniper Reservoir is a delightful lake close by. You should certainly dedicate some time to Lower Desert while you're here at Dry Lake, and a great close by hotel is Best Western Ponderosa Lodge. During the days of summer at Dry Lake       highs are typically in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dry Lake are in the 20's. Dry Lake is a wet spot that gets much rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here while July is commonly the driest month.
