If you are in Grant county it's always a good idea to stop by Dry Gulch Reservoir. Any time is a fine time at Dry Gulch Reservoir if you have a thing about the outdoors. Do pay a visit to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument if you're here at Dry Gulch Reservoir; you can go for a hike on the South Prong Trail. There's tremendous hiking along the Coffeepot Trail; Turnpike Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Whohoo, so many entertaining

Summer brings highs in the 80's to Dry Gulch Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Dry Gulch Reservoir temperatures sink to the 10's. Jay Reservoir, and Dry Gulch Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Tree Campground is a splendid local campground.
Dry Gulch Reservoir is commonly a pretty dried out location; the wettest month of the
year is regularly November, that's the one that rains the most, and September on the other hand is the driest. Good hiking is available along the Black Canyon Trail; a fine site to camp here at Dry Gulch Reservoir is Fish House Inn.
Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more fun things to do here in the Blue Mountains. Best Western John Day Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest It's always splendid to have a look at Crowbar Spring.
