A visit to Drury Lake is always a good idea. The high level of rainfall makes Drury Lake a pretty wet spot; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is July. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Soar down the rapids of Horse Creek in a kayak, and you can go for a hike on the Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you
at Lodge at Suttle Lake, and not far from Drury Lake you'll stumble on Nash Lake which is a lovely lake.
At Drury Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Drury Lake. Drury Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Honey

Creek Falls is a wonderful place to explore while you're at Drury Lake, and going for a hike on the Nash Lake Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
That right there is heaps of exciting things already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Drury Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Campground is a nice local campground, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Horse Creek Trail. If the weather is delightful, you acquire a wonderful vista of Burnt Top from Drury Lake, and needless to say Honey Creek flows through this area. Drury Lake really is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. There's so much to do here at Drury Lake that you need to camp here for a while, East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a great location for that, and the snow is tremendous at Mt. Bachelor.
There are other sites here than Drury Lake, for example Moonlight Lake; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Hoodoo is rather near.

Winopee Lake
Went to Winopee lake this weekend...it was a little dissapointing because the lake is about 45% covered with reeds and lilly pads. The Eastern shore is the only one you can accesst the water without having to wade through reeds. There is quite a few algae blooms so swimming isn't an option. Overall, the view was nice but not spectacular. There are three decent campsites at the lake, popular with horse camps. The best of the three sites is the one on the Eastern bank, take the first trail you come accross before reaching the junction for sno-shoe lake. The second and third campsites are on the West bank and are a little harder to find...head for the clifs and you are there....
