But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Going for a hike along the Chicago Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Diamond Rock is pretty and can be observed from here. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things near Drew Lake. A splendid spot to camp here at Drew Lake is West Fork Trail Creek Mill, and Long Prairie is a tremendous location. This lake is so wonderful.       You're sure to run into some great people from Medford here. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Drew Lake you can take a hike along the Brownie Creek Trail, and not far from Drew Lake you'll hit upon Joseph Reed Reservoir which is a charming lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. Drew Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Tiller Ranger                  District is a good local campground, and after a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn Suites White City is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Umpqua River - South; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Heart Lake. On a good day at Drew Lake you can take a hike along the Canyon Number Three Trail, and Umpqua River - South has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. The yearly precipitation here at Drew Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Summer at Drew Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
