Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Coast Ranges is unbeatable! You don’t have to go far from Downing Pond to observe the water at Joe Crow Dam. A large amount of precipitation falls at Downing Pond; most of the rain falls through December, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Downing Pond you can play some golf at       Cross Creek Golf Course, and not far from Downing Pond you'll find Joe Crow Reservoir which is a stunning lake. For the period of the warm months at Downing Pond highs are generally in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Downing Pond. Red Prairie is a delightful site any time of year, and if you came to camp Fan Creek Campground is a wonderful place to                  do that. Having a tremendous time at Downing Pond is easy. Paragon Motel is a nice spot to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, Mill Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. Take a side journey to Gooseneck Creek. Lakes?
