Douglas Lake is always a pleasure to visit. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Summertime highs at Douglas Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's while Douglas Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Baker City Super 8 Motel is a pleasant choice. Camping at Wallowa Lake State Park is always a wonderful experience, and on a lovely day you obtain a brilliant panorama of Eagle Cap from Douglas Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Kettle Creek Trail, and the peaks of the Wallowa Mountains dominate the scenery of this vicinity.

Just can't get enough of the Wallowa Mountains. You have to beyond doubt dedicate some time to Lake Basin while you're here at Douglas Lake, and Benson Glacier is an attention-grabbing place to stop at while at Douglas Lake. If only
every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Main Creek Trail, and if you came to camp Scenic Meadows RV Park is a nice spot to do that. And if that's
not enough there's lots more amusing stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains. You might want to pay a visit to Glacier Pass while you're here at Douglas Lake, and hiking along the Copper Creek Trail is good fun.
