This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Dorman Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Flamingo Mobile and RV Park is a glorious place for that, and after a long day outdoors Budget Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Dorman Pond usually tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the wintertime this       place gets highs in the 40's while Dorman Pond overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. Dorman Pond usually gets a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest month is July. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dorman Pond has to offer, you can camp at Big Eddy County Park, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Motel is a good choice.                  Dorman Pond is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. Bateman Creek is in the vicinity of Dorman Pond and is always a pleasure to go to; get yourself into a kayak and hit Wilson River - Devil's Lake Fork. Float down the rapids of Nehalem River in a kayak, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Shipley Pool.
