Beautiful Donaca Lake has much to offer visitors. Donaca Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls during December, and July is when it's the driest. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range is peerless!. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range.
Summertime at Donaca Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, usually in the 50's.

| | Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Donaca Lake plunge into the 30's. Camping at Tombstone Prairie Campground is always a perfect experience, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Cool Camp Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A cool spot to have a look at right next door to Donaca Lake is Knob Rock, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Gordan Peak Trail.

Donaca Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park is a pleasant local campground; there's some flowing water close by, Donaca Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay. Now,
you may assume that's a load but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Hiking along the Swamp Peak Trail is glorious fun, and get dripping wet paddling on Santiam River - Middle. Yep, outdoors
exciting things to do are in fact plentiful here at Donaca Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Santiam River - North; lovely scenery and magnificent skiing is what you obtain at Hoodoo.
