If you are in Jefferson county it's always a good idea to stop by Dollar Nine Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A good view of beautiful Cache Mountain is available from Dollar Nine Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the South Loop Cut Off. For the period of the months of summer here at Dollar Nine Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's;

You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Link Lake is one of those nearby, and if you've had enough of Dollar Nine Lake, Bone Lake is nearby. into a kayak and hit Marion Creek. Dollar Nine Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a glorious location to get
some rest, and everybody close by loves skiing at Mt. Bachelor. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. There's good hiking along the Cache Lake Trail, and if you come at the right
time of year, Squaw Creek offers some great whitewater. A pleasant nearby hotel is Lodge at Suttle Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Black Butte Resort is a great spot to camp. Dollar Nine Lake is a wet site that gets a lot of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
