Dollar Lake gets very little rain; December is when you get the most snow here, and July is the month with the least moisture. At Dollar Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Dollar Lake tend to be in the 10's. This       lake is so wonderful. While staying at Dollar Lake you could always look at Tenderfoot Pass, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Copper Creek Trail. Rogers Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; the view of Aneroid Mountain is striking. This place, Dollar Lake, it just has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. The Main Creek Trail is a nice hiking trail near Dollar Lake; if you came to camp Wallowa Lake State Park is a great location                  to do that. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Wallowa Mountains has to offer. A good nearby hotel is Baker City Super 8 Motel. There's so much to do here at Dollar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Scenic Meadows RV Park is a good place for that, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a splendid choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wallowa Mountains. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Wallowa Mountains rocks!
