What a nice lake Dollar Lake is. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Summertime at Dollar Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Dollar Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dollar Lake is right by the Elk Grove Trail, and the nice folks of Hood River like to hang out nearby.
This lake is so wonderful.

| | Whitewater paddling is delightful on Hood River - Lake Branch, and why not head up to Mt. Hood Meadows and strap some skis to your feet. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Dollar Lake; Pinnacle Ridge Trail is a brilliant local trail; if you came for an overnight stay Nanitch Campground is a good site to camp. So many cool things in the Central Cascade Range, just remarkable. Recession Lakes is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Cairn Basin is a wonderful place. And that's
not everything you can do here in the Central Cascade Range. The top of Mount Hood is easily spotted from Dollar Lake; a day on the slopes of Timberline Lodge is just what you need. Dollar Lake mostly gets a large amount of rain;
of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
Dry warm beds await you at Mount Hood Inn, and why not camp at Reservoir Campground since you're here at Dollar Lake.
Paddling on Hood River - West Fork is so much fun, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Vista Ridge Trail. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
