Through the summer at Dollar Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Dollar Lake through the wintertime commonly drop into the 30's. Take a hike on the Pinnacle Ridge Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Timberline Lodge is rather near. This lake is so wonderful. Have a magnificent hiking       adventure along the Vista Ridge Trail, and if you want to explore some interesting stuff, explore The Chimney. Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do near Dollar Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Hood River here. Dollar Lake commonly gets lots of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. You completely must have a thing about the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike along the Elk                  Grove Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is great on Hood River - West Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Laurance Lake is in close proximity, and why not camp at Nanitch Campground while you're here at Dollar Lake. Best Western Columbia River Inn is a fine place to get some rest, and a day on the slopes of Mt. Hood Meadows is just what you need. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. One of the principal characteristics of the surroundings of Dollar Lake is Mount Hood; Hood River - Lake Branch has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. A great nearby hotel is Mount Hood Inn; camping is available at Reservoir Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range.
