Comegys Lake is in close proximity, and camping is available at Fish Lake Campground. Not much rain falls here at Dollar Lake; May is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. That right there is a heap of amusing things already but it goes on, the Steens Mountains has it all. You're possibly into lakes, Mann Lake is one of those       close by; a trip to Dollar Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Charles Kuhl Springs. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Dollar Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Dollar Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
