What a nice lake Doerner Reservoir is. Summertime at Doerner Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the overnight is a little colder of course, typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Doerner Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 30's. Cleveland Hill can be spotted from Doerner Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Umpqua

| | River. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. There's so much to do here at Doerner Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Rivers Vacation Park is a perfect location for that, and close by Garden Valley is a glorious place to go. After a long day outdoors Sleep Inn , Inn & Suites is a brilliant site to spend a night or two; Cleveland Rapids is always fun to check out. This | |

Lodge is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Hidden Valley Creek, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Umpqua River - North. All the water falling down from the sky
makes Doerner Reservoir a wet spot; all through December this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Coast
Ranges rocks! You'll meet a lot of folks from Roseburg here, and an afternoon playing golf at Roseburg Country Club is always a delight.
