There's so much to do here at Dodd Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Rest Mobile Home Court is a glorious place for that, and some of the water close by flows, like Cold Springs Wash. During the warm days of summer highs here at Dodd Ponds get into the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's, and overnight lows at Dodd       Ponds all through the winter usually descend into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Stanfield RV Park, and no need to travel far to take a look at attention-grabbing stuff like Boat Rock. After a long day outdoors Oxford Suites Hermiston is a delightful spot to spend a night or two, and don't leave Dodd Ponds without first paying a visit to Cold Springs.
