At Dodd Ponds you don’t see much rain; through December this area sees the most rain while July is mostly the driest month. Here       at Dodd Ponds you'll probably meet some folks from Pendleton-Hermiston, and Dodd Ponds is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Stanfield RV Park is a fine place to camp nearby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Dodd Ponds. Cold Springs is a tremendous local attraction; some close by water includes Cold Springs Wash. Cold Springs Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit, and Oxford Suites Hermiston is a great spot                  to get some rest.
