A delightful close by hotel is Canby Country Inn, and get soaked paddling on Butte Creek. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Comer Creek flows through this neighborhood; Silver Falls State Park is a good campground nearby. At Dobbes Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's, and after the       sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Dobbes Lake descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pine Crest Trail; there are plenty of people from Salem here at Dobbes Lake. Dobbes Lake gets a typical amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is when it's the driest. Silver Spur RV Park is a glorious local campground; Oregon Garden Resort is a delightful place to get                  some rest. This is a good region for folks who like lakes. Marquam Reservoir is a lake in close proximity.
