What a location this is for outdoors folks. Division Reservoir is a location that is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; during November this area sees the most rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Mountains. Division Reservoir is right by the Black Canyon Trail; Division Reservoir is a perfect site       to camp, Fish House Inn is a perfect site. So much cool stuff in the Blue Mountains, just amazing. If time allows, John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth taking a look at, and camping at Division Reservoir is good fun, Pine Tree Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Prong Trail, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Blue Pot Spring. Hiking along                  the Coffeepot Trail is wonderful fun, and you're possibly into lakes, Big Mowich Reservoir is one of those close by. High temperatures at Division Reservoir through the long summer days are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's.
