Dinger Lake is always a pleasure to visit. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Timberline Lodge is a very popular ski area around here; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Cool Creek Trail. Summertime at Dinger Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Dinger Lake. So much cool

| | stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. Mount Hood Inn is a perfect place to get some rest, and Anvil Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Skyline Alternate Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and dry warm beds await you at Whispering Woods (Vri). This lake is so wonderful. Lake. While you're here at Dinger Lake you can take a hike along the Hambone Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Clackamas River offers some magnificent whitewater. A great deal of rainfall falls at Dinger Lake; most
of the rain falls during December, and the driest month is July. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Mt. Hood Ski Bowl has great slopes and a friendly staff, and a perfect place to camp here
at Dinger Lake is Hambone Springs Campground. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in close proximity to Dinger Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Drift down the rapids of Zigzag River in a kayak, and camping is available at Kinzel Lake Campground.
